What does the Fool learn from The Lovers and the Chariot?
So the Fool left the temple of the Heirophant wondering if he'd be in trouble again. Then he realized that the sun was shining. He focused on his little white dog dashing through the weeds chasing bright yellow butterflies. "I wonder who the Eternal Couple is?" He lifted his jingly cap to scratch his head. "Or is that are?" With a gay little laugh, the Fool began to skip down the dusty road. His dog scampered behind him barking in time with the melody of the silver bells from the hat. What does the Fool learn from The Lovers and the Chariot? Please feel free to leave a comment on that blog or this entry if you enjoy this. :) |

And Rainbow Wings!
And they're done! Rainbow Wings was the youngest of the three sisters, and the main character in the stories I wrote when I was a kid. She was the most kind and pure, which is why the fairies gave her the present of the golden horseshoes that grant wishes. ^_^ I has enjoyed reliving my childhood with these! I'm feeling super productive at the moment, if still a tiny bit nauseous. But this cycle I seem to have mostly skipped the aches stage and the crampy belly stage... awesome! |

newbie
Greetings! I began learning about Wicca recently, and what I've learned appeals to me. However, I don't think I'd be suited to work with a traditional Wiccan coven, even if I could find one that would have me, due to an intense schedule (college, work, and travel plans). It will be at least a couple years before I settle down enough to devote the necessary time to an initiatory path. So, for the time being, I want to develop a solitary neo-Wiccan practice that follows traditional ideas as closely as possible, or is at least heavily informed by them. Is this possible, or advisable? I started out reading Deborah Lipp's Study of Witchcraft and Elements of Ritual, and Ronald Hutton's Triumph of the Moon. I'm planning to read the basics from Gardner, Valiente, the Farrars, and Vivianne Crowley. I'll try to figure out the Wheel of the Year with Ashleen O'Gaea, and learn about incense & gems & herbs from Cunningham. I'm also intrigued by Kaatryn MacMorgan's Ethical Eclectic; her approach seems to fit well with my situation. Does anyone have any recommendations, or proposed alterations to my list? Any suggestions, advice, criticism, etc would be welcome. Thank you. |

Two down, one to go. This is Sunset, she's the oldest of the three sisters, and the most brave and adventurous. Her gift from the fairies was a necklace that could transport her to anywhere that the sun shines! ![]() |

Twilight Hush
Hi Everyone, It's time for a new fairy painting! Here she is, on auction: ![]() Twilight Hush 8.75x8.75in. Watercolor & colored pencil on 140lb cold press paper. In the darkening quietude of twilight, a fairy with long dark hair settles atop a tree branch to watch the stars come out. Also, I have Belle of the Ball available as prints: Thanks so much for looking! A very quiet day around the ol' Keys household. Mainly computer stuff. I do feel like drawing something though, so I will probably be doing that shortly. I liked this square format for this latest fairy painting! Although, it was one of those paintings that I HATED just an hour or so before completion. It had ugly stages. ;) I'm glad I kept going though, because now I like it very much. |
